Jungeun Yang

양정은(b.1995)은 시간, 삶, 존재와 같이 당연시되는 확립된 규범 자체에 질문을 던지는 것을 작업의 중심에 둔다. 키네틱 설치와 조형, 회화 등의 매체를 통해 기계의 반복성과 인공적 요소를 활용하여 인간 존재 자체의 역설을 탐구하며, 풍자와 유머를 활용해 인간 존재의 모순과 덧없음을 드러낸다. 익숙한 개념을 낯설게 전환하는 방식으로 인간을 중심으로 구축된 규범의 경계를 흔들고, 우리가 당연하게 받아들이는 구조와 가치에 질문을 던진다. 2022년 영국 Sunday Times에서 “Forget the Summer Exhibition - Meet the 5 Art Stars of Tomorrow”에 선정된 바 있다.
